Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2, and Watch9 during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

I was invited to Samsung’s Media Preview event recently. Here are some interesting photos of the phones/watches I took during the event. You can watch my experience at the event on my TikTok channel

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8

This is my favorite phone among the Z Fold8 series. Love the form-factor. It is very thin and light. In terms of specs, it cannot match the Z Fold8 Ultra. However, the unique shape (for now) makes watching movies and pictures very enjoyable, as they can fill most of the screen.

When it opens up, it has a nice 4:3 ratio that fits the full screen of most photographs.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 has an upgraded battery capacity. This is super important for user as the current Watch Ultra’s battery life is very limited. As for Watch9, it feels more premium now.

Pre-order Information for Samsung Galaxy Z Series 

Pre-order for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 will commence from 22 July 2026, Wednesday, 9:00PM Singapore time.  

Consumers who pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 via Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App, Samsung Experience Store, and selected consumer electronics & IT online stores can enjoy up to $300 off their storage upgrade1.

Consumers can place their pre-order for the all-new devices, at the following:
